Our speakers. Bryan Willey is a senior associate for Rabobank International’s Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory, currently based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In this role, Bryan is responsible for coverage of the world’s agricultural markets—specifically grains and oilseeds—with a primary focus on the European Union and countries in the Black Sea region. Additionally, he works closely with Rabobank’s commodity division, providing forecasts to internal stakeholders as well as working with clients to assess opportunities and mitigate risks.
Bryan has 10 years’ experience working in commodities, though this is his first year with Rabobank. Prior to his current role, he worked as an agribusiness consultant in Toronto, Ontario, and was a commodities broker in Chicago, Illinois, before becoming a proprietary commodity derivatives trader for a competing bank. Bryan holds a B.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Over the previous three years, the conference has become the highest caliber event covering the CIS agricultural sector. It features the most qualified speakers, attendance of the highest ranking agribusiness executives, and a large productive capacity (since inception, the «land bank» of attending companies increased from 2.7 to 4.5 MHA of arable land).
