Berlin, 13 June 2007 - Focus on Asia and co-location of Asiafruit Congress underlines importance of new international trade fair for fresh fruit and vegetable business in the region
BUYERS who visit Asia's first-ever fresh produce trade fair later this year are guaranteed to find the widest range of exhibitors from the international fresh fruit and vegetable business.
ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, which takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 5-7 September 2007, will host fresh fruit and vegetable companies and organisations from some 22 different countries all over the world, including many from Asia itself.
"There is a very strong focus on the region of Asia," said Grald Lamusse, managing director of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA. "Companies and organisations from China, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea and Sri Lanka are going to exhibit and we are delighted to announce national pavilions from Taiwan and Thailand."
In addition, ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has attracted exhibiting companies and organisations from leading supplying countries outside Asia. Australia, South Africa, Argentina and France will be exhibiting under their own national pavilions, while major fresh produce exporters from the USA, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK are also going to be at the trade fair.
"ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is an excellent opportunity for trade visitors and exhibitors alike to make new business contacts in the Asian fresh produce business," said Mr Lamusse.
Among the companies exhibiting are major suppliers such as Dole Asia, Chiquita, ENZA Turners & Growers, Zespri, California Table Grape Commission, California Tree Agreement, Pear Bureau Northwest, Washington Apple Commission, Australia Fresh, San Miguel, The Greenery, Royal Fruitmasters Group, Domex and SATI South Africa Table Grape Industry as well as leading Asian fresh produce companies such as Alfa Fruit Packers, Heibei Tianbo, Sanmenxia Golden Autumn Fruit Products and Huasheng.
